Overview of Legal Practice

Mr. Dickman's background combines senior-level environmental agency experience with many years of private practice in the area of environmental and administrative law.  As a member of the legal staff of the Texas Water Commission (predecessor agency to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality), Mr. Dickman served as a hearings examiner and then the senior attorney for hazardous and solid waste cases.  In private practice, he has over 25 years of experience in representation of clients on permitting, enforcement and rulemaking matters pending at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and other state and federal environmental regulatory agencies.  Mr. Dickman is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Administrative Law and formerly briefly practiced as a certified public accountant.
